OUR MISSION
Since 1975, Kirabo Memorial Primary School has been part of the Rakai District - started by a group of families who came together with one hope: to build a peaceful, united place where every child could learn and grow.
That hope still lives on in every lesson, every meal shared, every child who shows up eager to learn.
Kirabo has always been more than a school. It’s a reflection of the community - built with love, sacrifice, and almost no outside help.
Today, we have over 325 students, but just four classrooms. Many children still learn outside. We’ve started building a second school block - the foundation is already in place - but we can't finish it alone.
With your support, we can give every child at Kirabo the space and care they deserve.

WHERE FUNDING GOES
Every contribution helps us meet the daily needs of our students and build a stronger, more lasting future for Kirabo. It's not just about finishing a school; it's about giving our kids the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

SUBSIDIZING TUITION
Some children walk miles to get to class - but when fees become too much, they're forced to stay home. Many families in our community can't afford even the most modest school fees. Your support helps cover tuition for students who are eager to learn but whose families need a little extra help.
PROVIDING DAILY MEALS
For some children, the meal they receive at school is the only one they’ll have that day. Giving them a full stomach means they can focus, play, and make the most of their time at school. $0.40 a day can feed one child breakfast and lunch.

FINDING DEDICATED EDUCATORS
Teachers are the heart of Kirabo. We seek out passionate, local educators who go above and beyond - and your generosity helps us offer fair pay to keep them here, teaching where they're needed most.
EXPANDING AND MAINTAINING
With over 325 students and just a few classrooms, many children still learn outside, exposed to the elements. We’re building more space to meet the growing need. With your help, we can also maintain it for years to come.
